Protesters confront Cruz at airport over Kavanaugh vote

A pair of protesters confronted Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in an airport over his vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, USA Today reported Wednesday.

"You think that putting a sexual assaulter on the court is a victory for women?" one of the women can be heard asking Cruz in a video posted to Twitter. Cruz responds, stating that he believes in due process.

The women then press Cruz about his support for Kavanaugh and ask the senator whether he believed the judge committed perjury during his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee late last month regarding allegations of sexual assault.

“Thank you for expressing your First Amendment rights,” Cruz says to the women as he continues to walk quickly through the airport.

1. I hate to define it as a confrontation.

I sometimes see my congressman when I'm out and about. I often shout "Hey Tim Ryan, thanks for the good job you do".

If I didn't like how he represented me I may put it another way, but I don't call that confronting him. It's merely feedback from a constituent and pols should be ready to respond accordingly.

3. He's a serial liar and corrupt

We'll see if he also has had russian and putin money funneled to him or his campaign soon enough, then he won't be able to run away from what he's possibly done. No one who lies this much isn't corrupt. People are running away from trump and him in huge numbers in Texas. Especially now after announcing they're plans to destroy all programs , especially Social Security. Anyone close or on SS should be voting against them or they'll be hurt badly, like Cruz and trump have done to people on the ACA health care plan. They caused millions to lose their coverage, and caused premiums to skyrocket for people, and add the tariffs and Nafta that'll cause prices to skyrocket on everything, especially new cars and parts. Vote these bums out of office. They gave their donors huge tax cuts from being bribed with campaign funding . Now they're trying to make us pay for it, again, and they want to do another even bigger tax cut for them again. They've passed policies that'll drive our economy into another recession , or worse.
