(25,868 posts)Isn't Georgia one of the states that regularly has insufficient voting machines in predominantly Democratic and/or minority neighborhoods? Isn't it one of those where people give up in despair after hours of waiting in line?

And the SCOTUS decided there was no more need for the Voting Rights Act.
I can just hear Justice Roberts now, "Well, it's not about RACE! They're just trying to suppress Democratic voters, and is it the GOP officials' fault that African Americans and Native Americans and Hispanics tend to vote Democratic?"

(767 posts)When I think of the south eastern states I think of them being a third world country. I attended school in Memphis after high school and I was so happy to depart and go back to California. We have rural areas in California which seems like a third world country, but the roads are great!!!
