Turks tell U.S. officials they have audio and video recordings that support conclusion Khashoggi was

The Turkish government has told U.S. officials that it has audio and video recordings that prove Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi was killed inside the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul this month, according to U.S. and Turkish officials.

The recordings show that a Saudi security team detained Khashoggi in the consulate after he walked in Oct. 2 to obtain an official document before his upcoming wedding, then killed him and dismembered his body, the officials said.

The audio recording in particular provides some of the most persuasive and gruesome evidence that the Saudi team is responsible for Khashoggi's death, the officials said.

Mohammed has billed himself as a reformer and moderating force in Saudi Arabia, and he has become a key strategic partner in particular to Jared Kushner, the president's son-in-law and senior adviser.

This involves $Billions worth of arms sales to the Saudis, and Trump is a long-time friend of the saudis, so the senate foreign relations committee wants more information from trump. the Saudis could move the sale to Russia or China. This is a totally hairy deal.

$110 Billion is what the Saudis bought over 8 years from Obama. The Saudis have not bought any new arms platform during the Trump administration. Only one has even been seriously discussed: A $15 billion deal for THAAD, terminal high altitude area defense missiles, has gotten the most attention and preliminary approval from Congress, but the Saudis let pass a September deadline for the deal with Lockheed Martin. https://www.brookings.edu/blog/order-from-chaos/2018/10/10/after-khashoggi-us-arms-sales-to-the-saudis-are-essential-leverage/

Trump's claims have been debunked by factcheckers, like everthing else he says.

It's not the arms sales, it's the Trump profits that really count. Arms sales look good to his base, though, so he exaggerates them.

Absolutely nothing, to another one of his corrupt and murderous allies he's aligned with. Did he know ahead of time? Probably. Just like with his fine person and friend and murderer and corrupt putin . Trump probably has a staff of people who come up with all his excuses, and phony accusations its false, and accusations towards others , but in the end he will not impose any sanctions, just like he's refused to do to putin. He protects criminals, and goes after people that aren't. Trump's very evil. Law and Order was all another act, he wants his laws for him, and order for everyone else except himself. Trump's a fraud, and he's done this before with Putin with Syria .

I have posted this in other threads. Yesterday, Nicole Wallace had a former intelligence officer on her show. He said that our intelligence, I think the CIA and NIA intercepted communications from the Saudis that they planned on kidnapping the WaPo journalist. The former agent stated that it is the duty of those agencies to warn the journalist of the danger he is under, Why didn't we warn him" Was Jared behind this? He is BFF with the Saudi crown prince. Was Trump behind this? Later on last evening I watched Chris Hayes and Rachel and they brought this up briefly but skimmed past it. To me this is a big question and should be a big part of this man's murder.

Who stopped the CIA and NIA from warning this man?

According to an article from Raw Story, Lawrence had Malcomb Nance on his show and he said that it was highly likely that Trump was informed of the kidnap plot against the WaPo journalist. What did Trump know and when did he know it? Someone needs to ask those intelligence agencies if they informed Trump and Jared, if the info was in the daily briefing, if Trump and or Jared told those agencies to "sit on" warning the journalist.

Folks this is more than just Trump making money from SA and so he won't sanction them. This is about the possibility that Trump and Jared are accomplices to a murder.

who was on Nicole Wallace, Nance backed up what the other agent said. Are you disputing that our intelligence officials are not required to inform a permanent resident of the US that he is in danger from the Saudis?
I will take Nance's word over Trump's and Kushner's any day of the week.

Nance has been spot on about the Steele dossier, it is the right wingers who claimed Nance was unreliable.
