Christine Blasey Ford has no plans to further pursue allegations against Brett Kavanaugh: Attorney

Source: KGO-TV

WASHINGTON -- With the Senate voting to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as an associate justice of the Supreme Court, Christine Blasey Ford has no further plans to pursue her sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh, according to her lawyers.

Ford only wanted to speak with members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, her attorneys told CNN on Friday. Ford does not want the situation to "drag on into the next Congress should Democrats end up winning control on Capitol Hill," the network reported.

When asked about the possibility of impeachment proceedings, attorney Debra Katz told the network: "Professor Ford has not asked for anything of the sort. What she did was to come forward and testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee and agree to cooperate with any investigation by the FBI, and that's what she sought to do here."

"She does not want him to be impeached?" CNN's Dana Bash later asked.

"No," Katz replied flatly.

She didn't even want to get involved in this mess but stepped up to take a brave shot at Kavanaugh for the good of the country.

I'm hoping this will be a Stonewall-level incident for the Women's Movement.

The moronic asshole "president" publicly ridiculed her. No wonder she was reluctant to even come forward in the first place.

Thank you for your courage, Dr. Ford.

She went through a million metric tons of hell trying to do what was right, and all she got was ridicule and scorn by tRump and the RepubliCON party. I hope she can find peace in the remainder of her life, and she should be entered into the Women's Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls, NY for her patriotic sacrifice to our country.

is a class act. She is doing what Al Gore did. Make you case and pursue no further out of respect and integrity.

YES, half of me LOVES Gore for "giving up" so our nation could move forward. The other half is PISSED as fuck at him for not fighting harder.

I mean ADOLF HITLER even won the popular vote (yes under dubious circumstances Ill admit), yet FOUR SC justices will have been nominated by two men who did NOT even accomplish electorally what Hitler did. I think NSDAP is looking "up" thinking this new crowd has perfected their craft.
