Trump Says ‘Women For Kavanaugh’ Are Gathering on Capitol Hill: ‘They Are Not Paid Professional Protestors’

President Donald Trump tweeted Saturday morning about “Women for Kavanaugh,” a group supporting his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, claiming they are not paid protestors. His tweet came ahead of the Senate’s vote on Kavanaugh Saturday afternoon, which is expected to place him on the Supreme Court.

“Women for Kavanaugh, and many others who support this very good man, are gathering all over Capital [sic] Hill in preparation for a 3-5 P.M.,” Trump tweeted. “VOTE. It is a beautiful thing to see – and they are not paid professional protesters who are handed expensive signs. Big day for America!”
