Rudy Giuliani On White House Blocking Release Of Full Mueller Report: 'I'm Sure We Will'

Source: Huffington Post

Rudy Giuliani says the White House would likely attempt to block a full public release of Robert Mueller’s anticipated final report about the Russia investigation ― bolstering long-held fears that the special counsel’s ultimate findings may never see the light of day.

Giuliani’s startling admission was tucked inside an expansive New Yorker profile of the former New York City mayor and Trump attorney, published online Monday.

Giuliani, who like the president has repeatedly described the Russia probe as a “witch hunt,” told journalist Jeffrey Toobin that Trump’s original legal team had struck a deal with Mueller about his expected final report that would allow the White House to “object to the public disclosure of information that might be covered by executive privilege.”

“I asked Giuliani if he thought the White House would raise objections,” wrote Toobin in the profile.
“I’m sure we will,” Giuliana responded, noting that it would be the president who “would make the final call.”

of a witch hunt document that contains no truth according to them?

It can't be for national security reasons because they've maintained all along, it's a witch hunt - not about anything of substance.

I'm sure Nunes will do everything in his power to torpedo the thing - and if he can't, he will spend months crafting yet another one of their own bogus "reports" that will completely distort and obfuscate anything in Mueller's report BEFORE finally allowing Mueller's report to be released to his committee (and Lyin' Ryan will go right along).

In that case, Schiff (House Intelligence) & Cummings (House Oversight) and Warner (Senate Intelligence) should immediately release it themselves (if they -Nunes, Gowdy, Burr) even allow the Democrats on their committees to even see it).

Mueller is not conducting his investigation on behalf of Congress. He was appointed by deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein to conduct the investigation on behalf of the department of Justice and it will be the acting attorney general that decides whether and what is publicly released.

...that the Acting AG at that point is either Rosenstein or another person of his caliber who served the Constitution and not TRE45ON.

They've done nothing but object from the beginning.

Sad that a lot of Americans will agree with him and look the other way.

Might as well project a laser neon arrow in the sky captioned "lookie here!" It doesn't take a Mueller report to Impeach Trump, just a sufficient public demand to make it so. That would do it.
