Sources: Second Trump Org employee discussed immunity deal

Source: CNN

A second Trump Organization employee discussed a potential immunity deal with the federal prosecutors who charged Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former personal attorney, according to people familiar with the matter.

That employee ultimately did not receive immunity after prosecutors in the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York decided against granting such protection. The person was not called to testify before the grand jury, the people familiar with the matter said.

The employee's identity couldn't be determined by CNN. Spokespeople for the US Attorney's office and Trump Organization declined to comment.

News of the second employee's talks with prosecutors comes after Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg was granted immunity for providing information about Cohen. Weisselberg's interview with prosecutors focused on Cohen and the payments Cohen made to silence women during the election cycle who claimed affairs with Trump.

3. That was my thought. Both Cohen and Turd Jr were involved in the Trump Tower meeting.

And prosecutors surely don't want to toss Junior back in the water.

4. Sounds like someone who didn't have enough dirt to make immunity worthwhile.

What more would they need, once they had the 40 years employed By Trump bookkeeper?

Not likely anyone else at Trump Org will be getting immunity.

6. Why do you think that? If Don Jr approved the false payments, he wouldn't be worth

Even Jr. wouldn’t know as much as the 40 year employee. Mueller has all he needs, info-wise, with the bookkeeper.

Jr wont be getting immunity. He’s getting a room at Leavenworth.

As more facts come out Mueller will offer immunity and moves up the foodchain.

Then what if after this midterm Trump steps down and receives pardon from new pres Pence so nobody actually has to serve any time in the end.(besides Manafort who will probably get a pardon any day)

would people allow that to happen?

Mueller is only a hop away from the big tuna. He’s got plenty of evidence, and won’t need to pass out get out of jail cards. Trump may not make it to the mid terms.

The traitors won’t be getting immunity, and Pence won’t pardon anyone.

10. If they did Weisselberg, then the discussions may have been with Rhona Graff

... particularly since her name came up in Jr.'s emails about that infamous "meeting". If it is her, her involvement might necessitate some charges and possibly plea deals. The articles that come up about her indicate that she was considered Drumpf's "Gatekeeper" (like Cohen was considered his "fixer" ).

(this is just speculation)
