Ohio Dem: Trump always interested in 'finding a black person or a brown person' to call 'dumb'

Source: The Hill

BY AVERY ANAPOL - 08/05/18 07:24 AM EDT

Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) is accusing President Trump of “race-baiting” after his latest comments criticizing NBA star LeBron James and CNN host Don Lemon.

“The president is always interested in race-baiting,” Ryan said late Saturday on MSNBC. “He’s always interested in finding a black person or a brown person to call ‘dumb’ or to stereotype in some way.”

Ryan, who represents the Ohio congressional district that includes Akron, praised James for the “good work” he has done for the community, including millions of dollars in donations for youth clubs and schools, and donations of food and clothing for under-privileged youth. “He’s been one of the premier citizens for the city of Akron, not just the star basketball player and a great role model,” Ryan said. “He’s given back.”

“That’s the kind of leadership we need in this country, not the kind we’re getting in the White House,” he added.

On their 'Sunday Today' show with Willie Geist.

Said Trump attacks a lot of people,
but uses low intelligence, stupid, dumb, etc for attacks on people of color.

Two schools of thought for LeBron and Donald.

One Man Paid For A School In His Home Town

The other paid a porn star to be quiet

For school, Donald scammed people out of money with his fake university.

Lesson learned.

right? What is the purpose of your saying this? Just asking. Trying to understand the motive for your comeback showing that there are all fine people on both sides of the racial "dummy" divide in trumps world. Like Charlottesville explanation? What? This potus is a pigshit racist that needs no diversion from that fact or is this just some innocent, there's this posting? Just asking.

We know that when they are white and being called dummy - it's for a perceived slight, going against 45, having the audacity to run against 45, etc. etc.

When it's a black person - it's only because we are black. Like - I get that they are saying he does it to 'white people too' (a new metoo movement? ) -

But *nudge* *nudge* - we "KNOW". We "KNOW" heaven05 -and that's that. The others think they know things - but we know. We know that thing in the white house is a vile evil maggot racist.

...calling a black elected official who represents her community "low IQ". And it too closely echoes stuff like the "Bell Curve" which argues that black people have lower IQs. He knows what he is doing.

He had no grounds for calling Maxine Waters "low IQ", and he did so knowing that is what his racist followers say about black people, in particular black people who make their opinions known. He also called LeBron James dumb, knowing that his supporters think that black athletes are overpaid idiots.

Give me a break. Context is everything.

Does the thought of ANY white person being called a racist bother you so much that you are compelled to minimize EVERY accusation of racism?

Even when the accusation is made about an obvious (convicted in Federal court no less) racist?

How high is the hurdle someone has to clear before you decide that "Ok, that shit is racist?"

"I would say his response to what happened in Charlottesville is a better example of his racism."

And you could have done just that without minimizing other examples of racism.

But certainly, your allegations as to particular motivations will be given all the credibility they in fact, warrant.

and even I know you don't f*ck with Akron's favorite son.

What LeBron is doing for his hometown is commendable. What's sad is that it's so needed, the schools here are quite literally crumbling around the students.
