Hours after bashing British leader May, Trump praises her

Source: NBC News

Steve Bannon is also acting as a surrogate on British television and has set up what associates call a "war room" at a London hotel.

LONDON — Tacking in a different direction, President Donald Trump said Friday that the relationship between the United States and Britain is "very, very strong" and praised Prime Minister Theresa May for working "very hard" with him during a just-finished NATO summit in Brussels.

Trump's remarks came just hours after the British tabloid The Sun published an interview with Trump in which he torched May over her handling of the U.K.'s impending divorce from the European Union and, perhaps more important, said that if her plan for Brexit goes forward it would "probably end" the chances of a bilateral trade agreement between the U.S. and Britain.

When asked directly whether he regretted the interview, which appeared at a time when May's job is on the line over her proposal for a "soft" Brexit, Trump closed his eyelids and rolled his eyes.

May and Trump were meeting at Chequers, the prime minister's country house, where Trump said they planned to discuss trade and military issues.

says or thinks.

We need to look at what he does, analyze it carefully and react to that.

We are wasting our time and energy on the rantings of a man-baby. We need to stop.

ALL of his statements need to be dismissed as nonsense.

Like the drunk that shit in the tuba in front of 50 party goers, he totally denies it; it never happened. Yes, in deed, he lives in an alternative reality along with, sadly, over 30% of our fellow citizens. He is so out of it that during the press conference with the person he trashed the night before, he talked about the vast welcoming crowd that greeted him. He is oblivious to the fact that tens of thousands are protesting his very presence in their nation as being as welcome as the plague. The entire situation is bizarre and deadly. We are headed for disaster. If the people don't come to their senses and defeat this monstrosity of a marriage between a madman and a contingency of brain dead zombies the nation may be in serious jeopardy.

is in serious jeopardy.

We need to mobilize, and get this POS out by voting in November or even mobilizing earlier. Haven't we as a country been abused enough with this stupidity.

To your face, he is all bombastic lovefest with jerky handshakes and pats.

Behind your back, he is a pathetic, back-stabbing slimeball.

Still, other than the photo-moment, there is nothing there or credible in either situation.

He is actually an empty void of incoherent bullshit.

However, he has a definite direction he's pushing us and the world with his BS, and that's into the garbage heap for us and war in Europe. Putin hired him to destroy us in Russia's favor and he's not cowardly in that. Who got the 200 million soybeans contract hen he raised tariffs on China, Russia!! Now he's going to Russia and has signaled he'd give up military exercises with NATO if Putin asks (as a condition for stealing the mid-terms, no doubt). He's refused to implement any sanctions on Russia and fired the entire dept. that is responsible for implementing sanctions. He put one of the top people at Alfa bank as #2 in the Justice Dept. so he can kill the investigation after drumpf makes up a sufficient excuse to fire Rosenstein. He is intent on being dictator and will do whatever is necessary (in his eyes) to retain power, which he can only do with Putin's help. Putin is the brains, he's the brawn.

Fat Donny reminds me of that drunken uncle that stumbles into the family get together, pisses in the punch bowl, and passes out on the floor. Then it’s up to the family to try to put their best face on the disaster.

Well, let me just say - the Trump Road Show is getting all too predictably embarrassing and damaging to America’s standing on the world stage.

Steve Bannon and all his fat fisted fascists can go fuck themselves - Trump has proven himself to be a pathetic son of a bitch.

The western Allies should all revoke Trump's visiting privileges. And that should extend to anyone in the Trump family, and the Steve Bannon-type political "friends". No entry into European countries because of previous bad-faith activities as well as associations with known enemies.

Just sayin'

He slammed Merkel, he later praised her, he slammed NATO, he later praised it - he has appeared on camera and made totally contradictory statements on everyone and everything.

Fox News is now able to assemble stories with any narrative they like. Trump can be made to look like some sort of seer as they will simply produce the relevant soundbite

Its like this has worked for him in the past. A bully boy tactic. A wife abuser method. Beat them up good one day and then come home the next with flowers and chocolate and say they are the best. Repeat until the abused is so fragile, so confused, so willing to question themselves that maybe it really is their fault and they should forgive him and give him whatever he wants.
