Sarah Sanders Condemns 'Violent Attack on Innocent Journalists Doing their Job'

Source: Mediate

by Tamar Auber | 7:09 pm, June 28th, 2018

On Thursday, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders issued a strong condemnation against the “violent attack” that cost the lives of Capital Gazette journalists who were just doing their job.

Sanders’ tweet comes after a White House spox Lindsay Walters was asked on Air Force One, in wake of the shooting, about Trump’s frequent criticism of the press.

She responded: “There is no room for violence in our country.”

President Donald Trump has also responded to mass shooting, offering his “thoughts and prayers.”

It should be the other way around - Press Secretary reports what the President does and says.

SHS can't even do that as most of her answers nowadays are "I can't possibly know the President's mind on this and I'd have to refer you to his legal counsel..."

•The suspect held a long-standing grudge against the newspaper over a 2011 article that covered a criminal harassment charge brought against him, authorities said.
•In 2012, Ramos filed a defamation lawsuit against the paper and a columnist. The suit worked its way through the Maryland courts until 2015, when the state’s second-highest court upheld a ruling in favor of the newspaper.
•“I remember telling our attorneys, 'This is a guy who is going to come in and shoot us,’ ” said Thomas Marquardt, the paper’s former editor and publisher, who was named as one of the defendants.

She really thinks that she is hot stuff with hallucinations of being a journalist. This situation is pathetic. America is in for a long night with no light in sight. The beacon of hope has been blown out and scales of justice and law silenced.

Why the need to stress that they were just doing their job as if their job included something offensive that riled people up or that they had to do something on their bosses behalf they didn't like?

Coupled with the innocent remark, it's clear they are afraid that the motives might have had something to do with the violence Trump incites.
