Federal law enforcement officers issued a notice to demonstrators camped outside Portland's Immigration and Customs Enforcement headquarters Monday that they must begin to vacate the property.
"It is unlawful under federal law to obstruct the entrances, foyers, lobbies, corridors, offices and/or parking lots of federal facilities," read the flyers that Federal Protective Service agents plan to hand out to protesters, who began demonstrating outside the Southwest Macadam Avenue facility last week.
Billy J. Williams, U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon, said in a statement: "The U.S. Attorney's Office is working with FPS and ICE to reopen the federal building on Southwest Macadam that serves many critical functions requiring public and employee access. We acknowledge the community's concerns driving these demonstrations. While demonstrators have a lawful right to assemble and voice their concerns, blocking the building's driveways or entrances is not permitted under federal law."

(1,008 posts)Those right wing 'occupiers' were armed and photographed in sniper position and federal agents withdrew. OR juries acquitted the ones who went to trial.
Let's see how these non-right wing folks are handled. Don't imagine Trump's team is akin to Obama's on these matters.
