Kushner rips Abbas, says Mideast peace plan due 'soon'

JERUSALEM (AP) — President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser said in an interview published Sunday that the administration will soon present its Israeli-Palestinian peace plan, with or without input from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

In an interview published in the Arabic language Al-Quds newspaper, Jared Kushner appealed directly to Palestinians and criticized Abbas, who has shunned the Trump team over its alleged pro-Israel bias, particularly on the fate of contested Jerusalem.

The interview came out after a weeklong trip around the region by Kushner and Mideast envoy Jason Greenblatt. The team met with leaders of Israel, Jordan, Qatar, Egypt and Saudi Arabia to discuss the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza and the administration’s proposals for a peace deal.

The Palestinians refused to meet with Kushner, and leaders have criticized the Trump negotiating team in recent days.

9. Why would they say that -- just because both gave to illegal (even per Israel) settlements?

Completely agree that "alleged" is not needed in this sentence.

Now, who would expect THEM to be biased in favor of Israel? Kushner, with his wealth of experience in negotiating, should have a deal in place soon. One that involves building a tRump tower in Israel, no doubt. He is as qualified for this job as his father in law is for the presidency. Was Pee Wee Herman too busy to take on this task? How about that little geek who is writing the rules on border crossings, and taking kids to prisons? Surely, he has ideas for Kushner?

Hey Palestinians, do exactly what we tell you to do or we crush your guts under Israeli tanks.

Sounds reasonable

It still amazes me how clueless the WH bunch is when on the world stage. They are too stupid to realize how stupid they are. That equals incompetence, which is visible to everyone with half a brain.

have or would ever have and Israel takes everything, even their houses and land and money. In other words, no peace plan at all but total capitulation and surrender of all rights by Palestinians to the thieving Israelis.

Option 1; Annexation of the West Bank, Giza and lets throw in the Golan Heights for good measure. Palestinians become "citizens" who can't vote, jailed without cause, hurt an Israeli citizen...then max prison time or death penalty, Israeli citizen kills Palestinian...slap on the wrist type punishment....in other words, pretty much the status quo.

Option 2; Israel annexes the land they want. Give what's left to Jordan and Egypt....note, I didn't include Syria. The Golan Heights is a strategic resource in regards to water, they ain't giving that up. Oh and expel the Palestinians on "Israeli land".
