Top Dem: Trump created a crisis then falsely took credit for solving it

House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) on Thursday blasted President Trump, saying he is wrongfully taking credit for ending his administration's policy that ended in migrant family separations at the U.S.–Mexico border.

“I don’t applaud the President," Hoyer said on CNN. "He created a crisis, he says he’s solved the crisis. He has not."

Hoyer added that Trump's solution to stopping migrant family separations is "inhumane," saying that incarcerating children with their families remains an immoral and un-American policy.

"The fact is he has not solved the problem," he said. ..........................
