Kids protest on Capitol Hill floor using blankets like those given to migrant children

Source: The Hill

BY ARIS FOLLEY - 06/21/18 03:14 PM EDT

Children laid on the floor of Capitol Hill on Thursday wrapped in blankets similar to those given to migrant kids who were separated from their families in protest of President Trump’s controversial “zero tolerance” policy.

The measure, which sought prosecution for any adult crossing the southern border illegally, resulted in the separation of hundreds of migrant families since being implemented by Attorney General Jeff Sessions last month.

Trump ended the separations with an executive order on Wednesday, but it remains unclear how that will affect children already separated from their parents or guardians.

According to CBS News, close to 70 children wrapped themselves in Mylar blankets while sitting among cages in the Russell Senate building rotunda to protest the policy.

As I understand it Capitol Hill is the hill where the U.S. capitol building is located.
No?

Are they in fact on the floor of the U.S. CAPITOL?
Story is very poorly written.

I was outraged WHY ARE THEY COVERED IN TINFOIL.

I've since learned they are mylar emergency blankets, but this is a great protest. These metallic covers will become symbolic with the plight of immigrants.
