Nobel Committee member: Trump is no longer 'moral leader of his country or the world'

Source: The Hill

A member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee is condemning President Trump for the "zero tolerance" immigration policy that has resulted in separated families, saying that the president is "no longer the moral leader of his country or the world."

"What is happening at the border where he is separating children from their parents is a sign that he is no longer the moral leader of his country or the world," Thorbjorn Jagland, who is also the secretary general of a human rights watchdog, Council of Europe, said, according to Agence-France Press.

"He cannot speak on behalf of the so-called free world," he added.

-snip-

Jagland also said that the decision to withdraw the U.S. from the United Nations Human Rights Council on Tuesday is another example that shows Trump "does not want to be part of international treaties or international cooperation-based organizations."

He was such a literal monster his father sent him to military school. He loved the fascist ideals of the military. The idea of a supreme commander that he aspired to be. The founding fathers knew the dangers of the military and made the president the Commander and Chief. That might not be much of deterrent in the case of Trump.

World leaders need to speak out with the same sort of condemnation - and more.

Plus, and this is important, no more visits by foreign leaders. None. Zip. Zero. No more Spanish royals. No more presidents or prime ministers. None. And issue travel warnings to your citizens. Turn down any invitations, and don't initiate any such travel. Stop tourist travel. Yeah, yeah, I know working Americans may be hurt. But this issue transcends this.

If you're a royal or a president of prime minister or other head of state or head of government, if you show up here for a formal visit, you are considered a supporter of trump's policies. You, as much as any republican, own what is going on on our border. You have no credibility.

We need MORE world leaders speaking out - you know, someone with the moral courage to say it like it is!!!!

It is SO obvious that the Pugs don't have the moral fiber or courage to do so - the Dems don't have the majority to enforce anything, and the public must wait until November.

The Dems and the public CAN continue to put on the pressure - and world leadership would be a significant boost for our efforts.

(I know, the Trumpsters think the world can go F**K themselves - they ain't gonna' change, but a world-view could help convince some undecideds ((yes, I know THAT too - how can ANYBODY be "undecided" about this idiot!)).
