Report: Former 'Vino Vixen' Appointed By Trump Compiling State Dept. Loyalty List

Source: Talking Points Memo

By Alice Ollstein | June 13, 2018 2:34 pm

A State Department political appointee has been vetting career employees for their loyalty to President Trump, leading at least three to quit, according to a report in Foreign Policy.

Mari Stull, a senior advisor to the Bureau of International Organization Affairs (BIOA), is alleged to be combing the social media pages of diplomats and other State Department and UN workers looking for indications of their political views, investigating their work under previous administrations, and compiling lists of people she believes are not loyal to the Trump administration. Those viewed as suspicious have been excluded from meetings and briefings.

“This conduct is totally unacceptable, and adds to my concern about the treatment of career personnel by this Administration,” Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY), the top Democrat on the House committee that oversees the State Department, told TPM. “I’ll be looking into this, and I won’t stand for any more stonewalling from the State Department,” he added, referring to the agency’s unmet promise to turn over documents to Congress about alleged retaliation against career workers.

Stull, a former food and beverage lobbyist who also blogged about wine under the pen name Vino Vixen, was hired in April to work with BIOA, the State Department office in charge of diplomatic relations with the United Nations and other international bodies.

When the Virginia Bar reprimanded Monica Goodling last week, news reports failed to note where the former Justice Department official had landed. Looked like she disappeared, but no— she’s just working under her married name, Monica Krempasky.

She’s now at Corallo Media Strategies, a Virginia PR shop run by former John Ashcroft spokesman Mark Corallo , a senior advisor of the Ashcroft Group. “As a lawyer who has also worked as a federal prosecutor, Monica understands the challenges faced by individuals involved in high-stakes litigation,” reads her company bio.

Goodling became a household name after the Bush appointee admitted she hired federal prosecutors based on political beliefs. She resigned in 2007, and the Virginia Bar released an order on Friday with the results of her disciplinary case. The public reprimand cited her for misconduct, saying that she “improperly utilized political affiliation and other political considerations when making hiring decisions for career positions.”

But she’s “still entitled to practice law,” her lawyer John Dowd told us. “We’re very pleased. It’s a good result.”

Funny how these same names keep popping up, isn't it?

All of Trump's "best people" (meaning the best for him! ) are now culling out the "undesirables" (meaning people NOT loyal to his assholiness). Soon the re-education camps will open and the firing squads will be working overtime. Now there's a "growth industry" that will be hiring!

we'll fight back alright. Sometimes I think the alt-right sees us as toothless pacifists that are going to lie down and die at the first sight of them. I'm almost 70, I've had a good life, and if I had to give up my life to protect me and mine....so be it. I'd gladly lay down my life to turn back these fascist bastards!

When sane people take back our country, we can use this to FIRE EVERY FUCKING PERSON NOT ON HER ANTI-LOYALTY LIST

I'm not sure what should happen first. Fire all the fucks that pass the Donnie Short Fingers Loyalty-Test, OR EVERY SINGLE FUCKING ICE EMPLOYEE

I know, let's do both!!!!

Oh, and ANY Democrat who says; "it's time to move on and not worry about the past" when we go after these fucktwits should get punched square in the fucking face!
