Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen likely to cooperate as his attorneys leave case, sources say

Source: ABC News

As attorneys for Michael Cohen rush to meet Judge Kimba Wood’s Friday deadline to complete a privilege review of over 3.7 million documents seized in the April 9 raids of Cohen’s New York properties and law office, a source representing this matter has disclosed to ABC News that the law firm handling the case for Cohen is not expected to represent him going forward.

To date, Cohen has been represented by Stephen Ryan and Todd Harrison of the Washington and New York firm, McDermott, Will & Emery LLP.

No replacement counsel has been identified as of this time.

Cohen, now with no legal representation, is likely to cooperate with federal prosecutors in New York, sources said. This development, which is believed to be imminent, will likely hit the White House, family members, staffers and counsels hard.

Like that it's a mainstream source, didn't think we'd get to this point, hope it all comes out quickly and produces results.

And we'll really have something! Maybe even Trump'ers stopping dead in their tracks and suddenly re-considering and thinking "hey, maybe they did do something".

Cohen was one of Donnie's best friends....
Donnie....... a letter he will send..
To Mr Cohen this very day
And this is what the letter will say...

"Michael you must ..not tell..
Them anything that could ring their bell...
And get me hurt in any way..."
That is what the letter will say..

What will happen is clear to me.
Cohen will squeal you will see.
And Donnie will blow up you know.
But off to jail, Donnie's family will go...

.................thank you

Cohen would then be compelled to testify given that he has no fear of prosecution.

In order to review all of the documents seized for privilege issues, I heard that Cohen's law firm had 10 to 20 attorneys working full time just on this one project. At New York rates, this would add up to $50,000 to $100,000 per day. I suspect that Cohen is running out of funds necessary to review all of the documents seized by the FBI and so is having to get new attorneys

plus, Avenatti seems to be thinking that as well. ($350k-$500k a week !)

I wonder how much Mr. Ryan and his colleagues at McDermott Will & Emery soaked Mr. Cohen for before they jumped ship. I estimate $350k-$500k a week (not a typo). I guess that wasn’t enough to buy loyalty to their client when the going got tough. #Basta

However, there's a very good chance that trump got the majority cut. There's no way that someone so loyal as Cohen (willing to take a bullet) would be taking $ from AT&T and the like without trump knowing about it, and getting his share (he's famously cheap and greedy).

cheetolini a lot of stroke, Cohen's pretty much on his own with the potential state charges.

He should just shrug his shoulders and sign the deal. cheetolini wasn't going to pay for his lawyer, either.
