White House blames Eagles for canceled visit

Source: The Hill

BY BRETT SAMUELS - 06/05/18 12:24 PM EDT

The White House on Tuesday blamed the Philadelphia Eagles organization for the cancellation of an event honoring the team at the White House, pointing to the expected low turnout from players.

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement that the team submitted a list on May 31 that included 81 individuals who would attend Tuesday’s event. The list included players, coaches, management and other staff. The team notified the White House last Friday that many players would not attend, and attempted to reschedule, Sanders said. They suggested alternative dates when President Trump would be out of town, she said.

“Unfortunately, the Eagles offered to send only a tiny handful of representatives, while making clear that the great majority of players would not attend the event, despite planning to be in D.C. today,” Sanders said.

“In other words, the vast majority of the Eagles team decided to abandon their fans,” she added.

They're lying again because their mouths moved. Just like with the election , the majority aren't behind trump , as the NFL need to rid themselves of trumps ploy to divide them up with these demands of his, because it won't stop , and he'll continue doing things to hurt them and their businesses for revenge against them.

LeBron was asked what he thought of Trump disinviting the Eagles from their White House visit: “It’s typical of him. I’m not surprised. Typical of him and - I know no matter who wins his series, no one wants the invite anyway. It won’t be Golden State or Cleveland going.”

the meme on righty facebook is that the event was cancelled because trump only wanted one thing - for the Eagles to stand at attention while the national anthem played - and the players said they wouldn't do it so he cancelled.
