Papadopoulos's wife asks Trump to pardon her husband in Mueller probe

Source: The Hill

The wife of former Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos on Monday appealed to President Trump to pardon her husband, who pleaded guilty last year in special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.

Simona Mangiante Papadopoulos told Fox News’s Tucker Carlson that her husband was “dedicated and committed” to the Trump campaign. She said his “freedom is challenged” after he pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI last October amid the probe into Russian campaign interference.

“So I trust and hope and ask to President Trump to pardon him. I hope he will,” she said.

..

Papadopoulos was arrested in July and pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russians. He agreed to cooperate with Mueller's investigation.

Way to hit your talking point cues.

Yeah his FREEDOM is challenged - he plead guilty to a crime.

By getting drunk and shooting off is mouth, he kick-started the process that may restore democracy to our country.

Could a pardon dissolve cooperation? A pardon would be tampering in and of itself.

They've gotten all the relevent information he had to give. His sentencing hearing has already been scheduled. IIRC, the maximum time is 0-6 months in jail, probably closer to 0.

attempting to flee.Women, that should make you think twice. Scrap your loss to wisdom and find a man who doesn't need to be a drunk, run his mouth , have no loyalty to his country. You believe in a marriage he would stick when the hard times hit.

Girl needs a mom, not the federal government.
