Isakson: CNN Report Validates Some Claims against Ronny Jackson

Senate Veterans Affairs Chairman Johnny Iskason on Tuesday further defended ranking Democrat Jon Tester of Montana and others who had discussed allegations again Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson, the former nominee to be VA secretary.

Isakson’s latest remarks came as the National Republican Senatorial Committee has continued to hammer Tester over the senator’s release of information about allegations received by senators and committee staff against Jackson.

Speaking at a Rotary Club in Carrollton, Ga., Isakson seemed to verify Monday evening CNN reporting that a White House physician for Vice President Mike Pence had raised concerns about Jackson, who has been President Donald Trump’s doctor.

Isakson said it matched some of the information presented to the Senate panel before Jackson withdrew his name from consideration.
