Toronto van attack suspect charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder

Source: Yahoo Canada

Jonathan Rumley Yahoo Canada News April 24, 2018

The suspected driver of a van that jumped the curb and drove through a crowd of pedestrians Monday in Toronto has been charged.

Alek Minassian, 25, has been charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder and 13 counts of attempted murder. He was ordered not to have contact with any of the victims. The accused is due back in court on May 10.

The charges come after Toronto Mayor John Tory, Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and U.S. President Donald Trump all weighed in on the deadly incident.

“I also want to express our deepest sympathies to the Canadian people following the horrendous tragedy in Toronto that claimed so many innocent lives,” U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday. “Our hearts are with the grieving families in Canada.”

More to come

That killed 6 people, by a Trump and Marine Le Pen supporter.

Or the Minnesota mosque attack last year. Nothing. I guess he's a busy man.
