U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn should be kept off the 2018 ballot, Colorado Supreme Court rules

The congressional career of six-term Republican U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn of Colorado Springs was thrown into jeopardy after the Colorado Supreme Court ruled on Monday that he should be kept off the primary ballot in June.
While the decision that Lamborns re-election campaign improperly gathered voters signatures to land a spot on the ticket is unlikely to mean his 5th Congressional District seat leaves GOP hands, it injects the very real prospect that a fresh face will take over after years of unsuccessful challenges to Lamborns reign.

(1,634 posts)I use to live in red CO-05 for 13 years putting up with Lamborns safe seat, especially after the 2013 government shutdown. Lamborn even failed to defend Obama when a constituent, during a town meeting, called the POTUS a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Lamborn is a Trump lackey who has done nothing of significance for CO-5.
Now I live in red VA-05 and it seems that, according to Cook Political Report, Thomas Garrett Jrs seat is in jeopardy;

Leslie Cockburn is the Democrat Nominee running to unseat him.
