President Trump said Monday said "many people" have suggested he fire Robert Mueller, renewing speculation over the fate of the special counsel's probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

During a meeting with military officials, Trump was asked about Mueller, who issued a referral that helped lead to a Monday FBI raid on Michael Cohen, Trump's personal attorney.

“We’ll see what happens. Many people have said, 'you should fire him.' Again, they found nothing and in finding nothing that’s a big statement,” Trump said, claiming Mueller's team is biased and has "the biggest conflicts of interest I have ever seen."

“I think it’s a disgrace, what’s going on,” Trump added.

27. This is what you get when you put a guilty guy between a rock and a hard place.

tRump is quite literally cornered. His instinct (and advice from his ass kissers) tells him to just fire Mueller or get someone else to do that but get rid of him. Make this problem go away! But he has been told repeatedly that to do so will unleash a much bigger legal issue for him. So he is going crazy knowing he can’t just pop off with his first instinct. Things are very, very different in the world he entered when he became president. His ability to just speak an order and have it done immediately has been effectively squelched. The laws are not on his side and there is little he can do about it, although that won’t stop him from trying.

Pay attention and buckle up, Buckeroos. I think the next week might be a very rough ride for all of us.
