Dem offers to hire McCabe to help him qualify for his pension

Source: The Hill

BY JACQUELINE THOMSEN - 03/17/18 10:50 AM EDT

A Democratic lawmaker on Saturday offered to hire former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe in an effort to help McCabe qualify to receive his pension after being fired from the agency two days before he qualified to receive it.

Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wisc.) was responding to a tweet from NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, who said the former FBI official might still be able to receive his pension if he’s hired by a member of Congress.

And, he is under investigation by the ethics panel or such within the Bureau. Of course, we ALL know the real "cause" and that's simply because the orange shit stain has an unquenchable thirst for revenge. I am so angry now and so desperately afraid that there's no possible check on this megalomaniac's destruction of this country and potentially the rest of the world. This maniac is an existential civilization-ending threat and he's running at warp speed unchecked.

Is it a bad idea to defend against the crazy by first acknowledging the worst that could happen if it continues?

Trump isn't issuing parking tickets, but he's not nuking anybody, either. But we know he likes nukes and relishes the idea of slaughtering millions of innocent people to MAGA. So, yes, I'm concerned he might like to try nuking Venezuela (well, why the hell not?) but I'm also aware that, as of today, he's neither planning nor capable of doing so. So I watch to see what changes are afoot that might open the door for him to have an easier path to armageddon.

As for the Evangelicals praying for end-times, to them and their lying false-prophet preachers I say f**k you all as the mindless jackass servants of an invisible demon that you are. Jesus Christ, y'all, your "God" would lovingly slaughter 7.5 billion people just so you can get your frosted white asses to heaven? F**k you, again.

Anyway, let's focus on the problem and work locally to upend the travesty of GOP-Corporate rule. If we can create a tsunami to kick all the Repubastards out of office, we will save the Republic -- and be able to use our energy to engage in more relaxed arguments involving March Madness (Go, UMBC!), the coming spring surge of life, and what kind of fruit baskets we want to send inmate Trump.

I doubt there is anyone here still unaware of what worst cases “Could” happen... ...but these kinds of doom n gloom posts aren’t talking about potentialities, it is the torrent of empty pronouncements of inevitable doom that disempower and disrupt to the point of objectionability.

I can’t always tell if it is a case of the miserable seeking company, or the terrified seeking reassurance... but neither particularly interest me.

Things that would drop other healthy people in their tracks don't phase The Donald. It's useless to try conventional weapons on him. He's like a Cyborg, impervious to the slings and arrows of human misfortune.

Trump sent a tweet about firing...if we are going to get to the root cause of it all Sessions fired McCabe after the internal investigation within the FBI showed he violated some BS.

So to be accurate Sessions fired him based off (Cheeto's tweet) and the report by the FBI's Office of Personal Responsibility that recommended his firing and a DOJ report. The Justice Department's inspector general found McCabe leaked sensitive details about the FBI's investigation of the Clinton foundation to some reporter, and then lied about it to somebody investigating it.
Now McCabe has the ability to do press releases on whatever he wants...so I don't get how he can do that while at the same time get in trouble for it. Further, he is in trouble for supporting his wife campaign for...wait for it, wait for it...wearing a T-shirt that supported her on Facebook or Snap chat lol.

The point I'm making out of all of the above is that Trump didn't fire him or get his little hands dirty (like usual, just shoots his mouth off), Sessions did it (probably to impress Cheeto) and got away with it thru all the above named agents conspiring with him to get rid of McCabe.

This is a real problem!

Way bigger than just Trump..all these people internally that are charged with being impartial and overseeing shit colluded together to get where we are presently...two God Damn departments one with oversight!
That means the very thing the Repubs are saying OUR side did to the FBI and Justice Department (Deep State BS) clearly they have accomplished.

Those individuals will still be working and in their positions of power long after Trump and Sessions have gone..probably promoted too.

Just pointing a finger at Trump keeps the spotlight off the rest of the criminals (Republican Deep State) doing God knows what everyday to further their agenda.

I think that's what you're saying here? The checks aren't checking and the balances are unbalanced.

That's been the case ever since the night of November 8th, 2016. Actually it started before that, when Mitch McConnell refused to consider Obama's recommendation for SCOTUS in 2015. That happened a full year before Trump was elected.

Long story short, a lot of things are seriously fucked up and we need to get to work and get them fixed. After the orange asshole is locked up for life.

All I know is that he seems to have made enemies on both sides, much like Comey, but in the end was ousted to hamper the Russia investigation. It doesn't really matter what anyone thinks about any of that. Being fired 26 hours before retirement after a career of honorable service is reprehensible.
