President Trump on Tuesday said Larry Kudlow has a good chance of taking the helm of the White House's National Economic Council.
Trump told reporters ahead of a trip to California that he is taking a hard look at Kudlow to replace former top economic adviser Gary Cohn.
"I'm looking at Larry Kudlow very strongly," he told reporters on the South Lawn."Ive known him a long time. We don't agree on everything," he said. "But in this case, I think thats good."
Trump, who argued he wants differing opinions in the White House, said Kudlow has "come around to believing in tariffs as also a negotiating point."

I mean, Kudlow is to economics what William Kristol is to political strategy: if he says something, you know its wrong. When he ridiculed bubbleheads who thought overvalued real estate could bring down the economy, you should have rushed for the bomb shelters; when he proclaimed Bush a huge success, because a rising stock market is the ultimate verdict on a presidency (unless the president is a Democrat), you should have known that the Bush era would end with epochal collapse.

It's a feature, not a bug.

He attended Princeton but dropped out, might have been after Vietnam war cooled down, he got a safe lottery number or he couldn't handle the academic rigors of an Ivy League school?

Trump treats everyone like dogs, and he ends up firing everyone in a humiliating way. WHY would anyone with cred want to subject himself/herself to that?
