Obama AG rips House Intel Republicans for ending probe: 'Politics beat a desire for the truth'

Source: The Hill

Former Attorney General Eric Holder tore into Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee for deciding to end the committee’s probe into Russian election interference, declaring that “politics beat a desire for the truth.”

“Republican House [Intelligence Committee] shut down Russia probe before doing a complete job,” Holder tweeted Monday.

“This is a coverup and a lasting stain on the reputation of what used to be a bipartisan Committee when it was run by Republican Rogers and Democrat Ruppersberger,” he continued.

Holder was referring to Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-Md.) and former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.), who used to lead the House Intelligence Committee during the Obama administration. Rogers is now serving as director of the National Security Agency.

This was a BS probe where Congressional Republicans repeatedly gave Trump officials a free pass when it came to answering questions.

Just kidding. Of course he won't.

He was a dedicated seeker of truth when Obama was President, but will doubtlessly show himself to be a quiet supporter of Nunes and the cover-up.

When the choice is the security of America or the well-being of a corrupt Republican Party and its borderline traitorous White House, there's really no choice at all for Rogers, and for all of his brother and sister Republicans serving in the House, the Senate, or the White House, knee-jerk Americans all.

we know the House Republican inquiry into Trump was bullshit as well. Follow the money. Russia and the NRA help float this party because they can't find individual donors to support them. Without Putin, the NRA, and Billionaires the Republicans would starve financially to death. They have no grassroots representation that is willing to fund this corrupt party.

GOP = The Organized Crime Party. We need a RICO investigation into this Party that represents no one in this country.

and start HAMMERING Trump and the GOP. The ground is so fertile. Are they all too scared? Are they all compromised in some way? It won't be Schiff, or Swalwell, or Hines. They are not forceful enough. It's a golden opportunity, but it looks like they all may be too timid, while Trump runs roughshod over the Dems and the Constitution.

Sigh

And by being quiet, they're complicit. See - the REAL impediment here is that BOTH SIDES are feeding from the very same teats - and NO ONE is going to point out the obvious, lest they cause THEIR teat to go dry!

come November 6, the Republicans are going to be in the minority. Trump's reign of terror, and the GOP's reign of complacency ends the day they're sworn in.
