Lyft offers free rides to March For Our Lives rallies across US

Rideshare company Lyft says they will give free rides to people who want to attend March For Our Lives rallies across the country.

In a letter to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students that was shared online, the company said:

We believe there is something seriously wrong when the threat of gun violence is so frequent and real throughout our country. And like many, we are inspired by your leadership. We'd be honored to support your work with free Lyft rides to March For Our Lives rallies across the country on March 24.

The letter goes on to thank the students for speaking up and "showing the world that young people can drive meaningful change."

Ashamed to say I was too lazy/busy to switch before (even after the Uber scandal), but this is HUGE. Voting with our dollars is probably the last best way we have to influence corporate America (which of course, influences our politicians).
