Mayor Schaaf receives threats after warning of ICE raids

OAKLAND — Mayor Libby Schaaf on Monday received online threats, a day after boldly warning residents of possible U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement sweeps in Oakland and the Bay Area.

A Schaaf spokesman said the mayor’s office is aware of the threats, which came via Facebook and in calls to City Hall. In one Facebook post, a man threatening Schaaf referenced the 2015 killing of Kate Steinle, who was shot by an undocumented immigrant in San Francisco.

“We have notified Facebook regarding the most severe threats, such as those that threaten harm,” mayoral spokesman Justin Berton said.

On Sunday, Schaaf said she went public with the information after consulting with legal counsel about information received from multiple “credible sources.” The mayor did not have specific details of targeted locations or communities but said the enforcement action would be Bay Area-wide.

Source of the threat is St. Petersburg, Russia. Along with the colorful memes being posted, etc., etc., etc...

3. Isn't the fucking moron supposed to "punish" CA

for not supporting his immigration orders by pulling his "immigration dept protection" services by pulling them out of the entire state? I wish he would do it...it would be a pleasure and appreciated by our Sanctuary State. Good riddance ICE...don't let the door hit ya!
