Indictment of Gov. Eric Greitens expected to be focus in Missouri House Monday

The talk swirling around Missouri about Gov. Eric Greitens and his indictment on a felony charge is not expected to die down soon.

A grand jury in St. Louis indicted Greitens, who is married, for felony invasion of privacy for allegedly taking and transmitting a photo of his partly nude lover in 2015.

Greitens, a Republican, has declared his innocence and alleged the indictment is a “misguided political decision” by a “reckless liberal prosecutor.” St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner is a Democrat.

In the first, they are likely to unveil a resolution calling for an investigation of Greitens, with an eye on determining whether he should be impeached.
