Florida Lawmaker Opposes AR-15 Ban But Says He Supports Parkland Students By Wearing A Ribbon

Source: crooksandliars.com

...................................

CNN host John Berman asked Caldwell in an interview on Wednesday why Republicans voted down a proposed ban on the type of gun used to kill 17 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Caldwell claimed that the bill was rejected because it was a "ban on all guns," not just AR-15s and other weapons with high-capacity magazines.

.................................

Berman wondered if the presence of the students was having an "impact" on lawmakers like Caldwell who voted down the bill to ban assault weapons.
...............................................

"You see I'm wearing the ribbon for Parkland, in their remembrance," he added.

I see them as lying traitors, who put their party before their country.
How the fuck can these U.S. citizens sell our country to Russia, just for party (and now seemingly NRA) allegiance?
I would be having nightmares each night if I did something LESS than this.

stop a .223 caliber slug with a muzzle velocity of 3,240 ft./sec.? NO? Then shove your ribbon up your ass, you NRA shill. Go count your money. We'll count the number of dead Americans your cowardice causes, and the number of days until we can vote you out of office, you greedy pig!

For the brief period they will have access to the MSM, these students can define what those ribbons mean.

The students should go on TV and say these things:

1. Wearing a red ribbon means you support a general assault weapons ban.

2. Wearing a red ribbon means you do not support the NRA and will not support politicians in NRA's pocket.

3. Wearing a red ribbon means you support political candidates who are for strong gun control measures, along with local measures to prevent anyone carrying a weapon from being on school property - thereby allowing students to do their studies in peace and without fear.

If they were to only state No. 1 on TV, then we would see how many continue to wear those ribbons!

should go on TV and proclaim what the ribbon means. If you wear it for me, I have that right.

Then, make it a point to challenge anyone they see wearing the ribbon. Where do you stand?

From the article:

"We need to respond with tools that are going to make a difference," he remarked. "We know for a fact that these schools get targeted because they're gun-free zones. Ninety-five percent plus attacks happen in gun-free zones."

Don't let the ribbon distract you. This "gun-free zone" bullshit is the NRA's talking point -- their answer to too many guns is more guns. Note it bolsters the idiot argument that we need to arm teachers and put armed guards with AR-15s in schools.

Mass shootings can take place because guns designed for that are readily available.
