LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) The Latest on the sentencing for a former Arkansas judge who admitted trading lighter sentences for sexual favors (all times local):

A sentencing hearing is underway for a former Arkansas judge who admitted giving lighter sentences to some defendants in exchange for sexual favors.
Federal prosecutors are seeking a 37-month prison term for Joseph Boeckmann, while defense attorneys want home detention.

No opinion on the ex-judge's sentence. His power has been taken away so I don't know if he's a further threat to others unless incarcerated.
