Mueller to interview ex-Trump aide Sam Nunberg: report

Former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg will be interviewed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller on Thursday, according to NBC’s Katy Tur.

Nunberg worked as an aide to the Trump campaign until he was fired in 2015 for allegedly breaching a confidentiality agreement.

The interview comes days after Mueller announced an indictment against 13 Russian nationals and three Russian groups for their interference in the 2016 election.

President Trump declared that the indictment proves that his campaign “did nothing wrong,” but the special counsel’s investigation into whether the campaign colluded with Russia is expected to continue for months. Nunberg admitted last year that he had made up a viral story about then-New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) being sent to pick up McDonald’s for then-candidate Trump to embarrass then-candidate Trump.

I've seen him interviewed on tv - most recently just this morning. He supports trump and his agenda 100% but acknowledges the administrations constant lies.
