BY LUIS SANCHEZ - 02/21/18 12:47 PM EST
President Trumps approval rating has fallen three points in the latest Quinnipiac University poll, which was released on Wednesday.
The new poll conducted Feb.16-19 found that 37 percent of American voters approve of Trumps job performance, while 58 percent disapprove. This marks a decline from the last Quinnipiac poll released on Feb. 7 that had Trumps approval rating at 40 percent, the highest it had been in seven months.
The lower ratings follow controversies concerning former White House staff secretary Rob Porters resignation after being accused by his two ex-wives of domestic abuse.
Nearly 60 percent of voters said they disapprove of how Trump handled the Porter case.

Poll: Two-thirds of voters think Trump should release tax returns
BY NAOMI JAGODA - 02/21/18 12:47 PM EST
Two thirds of voters said they want President Trump to release his tax returns, a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday found.
Sixty-seven percent of voters said they think Trump should make his returns public, while 24 percent said he shouldn't.
The poll found support for Trump releasing his tax returns across gender, education, age and racial groups.
However, voters were divided along party lines on the issue. Ninety-one percent of Democrats and 68 percent of independents said that Trump should release his returns, while only 30 percent of Republicans said the same.

UPDATE:
Majority think Trump cheated on Melania: poll
BY MORGAN GSTALTER - 02/21/18 12:58 PM EST
The majority of voters surveyed in a new poll think President Trump has cheated on his wife, first lady Melania Trump, during their 13-year marriage.
Only 18 percent of American voters said Trump has been a faithful husband, compared to 56 percent who said he had not been loyal, a Quinnipiac poll released on Wednesday found. Twenty-six percent said they were undecided.
Republican voters were the only demographic who maintained Trumps faithfulness, the poll found.
President Trump has been publicly accused of several affairs in recent weeks that date back years to early in marriage to his third-wife Melania in 2005.

Still In Wisconsin
(4,450 posts)There are a couple of times over the past year where Trump probably had a chance to build a little political momentum, just by acting like a sane person and not making any outlandish tweets or "off-the cuff" impromptu comments in front of cameras. But he never does that. Trump will always be Trump- an insecure, pathetic bully used to getting his way. When he doesn't get his way, or people are insufficiently effusive in their praise of him, he goes on some unhinged cyber rant.
