Rubio says he believes alleged Florida shooter should be executed

Source: The Hill

BY REBECCA SAVRANSKY - 02/19/18 11:24 AM EST

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said he believes the alleged shooter who opened fire last week at a Florida high school should be executed.

During an interview with CBS Miami, Rubio was asked whether he believes Nikolas Cruz, the suspected shooter, should get the death penalty.

"The answer is yes," Rubio said.

But he added it's a tough question to answer because he has larger concerns about the death penalty.

Because neither are justifiable.

60 or 70 years in prison, until your death from natural causes, is a pretty severe punishment.

but won't spend money on mental health treatment or armed security guards. They'll probably cut funding for schools even more by saying that school is too dangerous and kids should just stay home.

Assuming Cruz doesn't plead guilty, it's going to be bloody difficult to find a venue where the case hasn't saturated the news. He's still entitled to a fair trial, and having politicians shooting their mouths off about what should happen (right or wrong) doesn't help.

That 3.3 MILLION that Rubio put in his pocket from the terror org NRA had it's inevitable effect!

Innocent kids slaughtered and their blood is all over Rubio's hands!

He has an A+ rating from the bloody NRA and has and will again and again and again block any and all sensible gun laws as long as he is in office!

If Americans are tired of the reign of terror brought on by the NRA and it's political party...ALL republicans MUST be voted out of office!

At least enough for the democrats to take charge anyway. If that doesn't happen the reign of terror will continue in our schools and other public places in this country.

It will NEVER end!

Most of these shooters are so depressed and/or mentally unfit that they have already accepted that they may die in their actions. The next shooter is not going to be put off because the last shooter got the death penalty. Of all the crimes in the world, this is the least one where the death penalty could be a deterrent.
