A downtown Toledo Pastor and his family are accused of robbing a Sunday school teacher at the church over the weekend, according to Toledo police.

St. Paul’s AME Zion Church Pastor Anthony Morris, 49, along with his wife, Zelda Morris, 46, and 19-year-old daughter Kamali Morris, are each charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, a first-degree felony.

Nickema Turner, of Maumee, was teaching Sunday school at the church, 954 Belmont Ave., when she was assaulted by the family, according to a police incident report. During the assault, Mrs. Morris is accused of dumping items from Ms. Turner’s purse and taking them, police reported.

Ms. Turner attempted to recover her belongings when Mr. Morris allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at her, police said. The woman said the pastor threatened to kill her, according to the report.

The vast majority of people as a whole in the US are Christian, so there will be more Christians in jail.
And inmates love to put on the "I found Jesus" story in front of parole boards.

But the group with the smallest prison population, atheists?
We're considered by the "good Christians" to "have no morals" since we don't believe in their stories.

"But the group with the smallest prison population.."

Female Asians, regardless of faith or lack of it... to be accurate.

I didn't write that the most prisoners are christian.

I wrote that the percentage of christians among prisoners in jail is higher than the percentage of christians among people outside of jail.

I should have written jails house a greater percentage of Protestants than the general population.

Jails (2011): Protestant: 50.6%, Catholic: 14.5%, other christian: 1.2% for a total of 66.3%.

General population (2008): Protestant: 44.4%, Catholic: 23.9%, Historically Black Churches: 6.9%, Mormon: 1.7% for a total of 76.9%.

It turns out my point is weak, depending on how HBC are counted (probably mainly Protestant). I should probably retire my talking point.

Mother and daughter shot by dad, then dad shoots himself.

And an autopsy will find they had been high on meth.

TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Police say a Sunday school teacher at a local church was robbed by the pastor of that church and his family while teaching her class on Sunday. The robbery occurred at St. Paul Zion Church located on 954 Belmont around 10:30 a.m.

Police say Nickema Turner was teaching Sunday school when the the pastor's wife, Zelda Morris, and daughter, 19-year-old Kamali Morris, assaulted her. Turner told police personal property was stolen from her by Zelda. She also told police that during the assault, Pastor Anthony Morris pulled out a gun and threatened to kill her.

Turner was treated at the scene and told police she would follow up with medical treatment if necessary.

Anthony and Zelda have since turned themselves in.

Here's a pastor and his clan - forcibly taking the personal belongings of this teacher so that they can be liquidated, redeemed, and the resultant proceeds distributed amongst the poor! Literally enforcing the "Tithe that binds".
And how resourceful that he had a backup plan (As in have a gun showing while executing a "backup" towards the door). I can hear God's advice to these crusaders: "When you fleece the flock - carry a Glock."

According to the police report, the pastor’s wife told Ms. Turner’s 16-year-old daughter the incident happened because “your mom slept with my husband.”

Painkillers? Benzos? I think the attack was about the phone, but as soon as they took those prescriptions, it was a federal felony. If someone can go to jail for selling a single one of their own pills, then these animals should go down hard for this.
