Trump to meet with those affected by Florida shooting on Friday

Washington (CNN) - President Donald Trump said Friday he will head to Florida later in the day to meet with those affected by the school shooting that left 17 dead in southern Florida.

"I will be leaving for Florida today to meet with some of the bravest people on earth -- but people whose lives have been totally shattered," Trump tweeted Friday morning. "Am also working with Congress on many fronts."

It was not immediately clear whether Trump would be heading to Parkland, Florida, the site of the school shooting. But Trump was scheduled to leave Friday afternoon for West Palm Beach, which is less than 40 miles away.

Trump said Thursday he planned to head to Parkland "to meet with families and local officials and to continue coordinating the federal response" but the White House had yet to confirm details of his visit at the time of Trump's tweet.

There is not one ounce of sincerity in tRump's visit to this school. This is simply a photo op with the victims that his staff is forcing him into preforming.That is the key word, "performance", for the empty barrel narcissistic sociopath who feels NO pain but his own.

I'm certain all of the parents that will meet with him are being carefully screened.

After the local GOP reps finish checking with the registrar of voters to see what political party Mom and Dad registered with, and cross-checking those names with local NRA and "Evangelical" organization lists. They've got to be MAGA all the way before he'll deign to visit with him.

I also doubt he'd be able to see any of the families of children who were injured or killed because it would be put out that it's "too soon" for them to be in the media spotlight while they're still in shock and grieving.
