Romney to announce Senate run on social media: report

Source: The Hill

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will announce his run for Senate in Utah on Thursday with a message to supporters on social media, sources told the Washington Examiner.

He will make his first appearance on Friday, speaking to grassroots Republicans near Salt Lake City, the news outlet added.

"Stay tuned for my announcement on the Utah Senate race this Thursday. Visit www.mittromney.com to be one of the first to know!" the former Massachusetts governor said in a Facebook post on Monday.

Romney, 70, was an outspoken critic of President Trump during the 2016 GOP primary but since then the two figures have mended fences, with Romney briefly being considered for secretary of State before being passed over for Rex Tillerson.

Does he really think we have forgotten about his 47% remark?

I guess rMoney is hoping that his 'binders full of women' gaff seems pretty palatable right about now after all the atrocitites committed by Tangerine Idi Amin and his minions.

It is simply amazing how shit shines in comparison to the occupant of the white house.

When it comes to Romney though it pains me, I do give credit where its due when it comes to Massachusetts healthcare reform. Even if he did distance himself later on, this state was better for it. And yes I know, he didn't do it single handedly..

I fear he's destined to be Trump's designated primary loser, but it'll be fun helping the Me Too movement chew him up and spit him out before doing the same to Trump.
