Live coverage: FBI director testifies to Senate Intelligence Committee

Source: The HILL

FBI Director Christopher Wray will testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday amid growing conflicts between the White House, congressional Republicans and the nation’s top law enforcement agencies.

Wray’s testimony comes days after the White House said it would not release a memo authored by Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee, which was meant as a rebuttal to a GOP document that President Trump declassified over the objections of the FBI.

Great hearing, even republicans are asking what is being done about Russian interference, to which all Intel chiefs agreed. Wray directly contradicted trump, and Angus King was magnificent in asking why trump won’t admit to what everyone knows.

Chris Wray will probably get canned shortly by Donald.

Obviously Porter never got a full security clearance, so he was pretty much denied in July. Trump tried to open it with follow up, which the FBI answered in November. The file was administratively closed in January.

and had it on in the background, but missed a bunch of things.

CSPAN3 streamed it and has the video archived and available now (it just ended about 30 minutes ago) and you can watch it here - https://www.c-span.org/video/?440888-1/fbi-director-rob-porter-background-check-completed-july

They have a closed session starting at 2:30 pm ET this afternoon so if it wasn't asked during the open session, it's possible it will get asked during the closed one.
