U.S. singer Vic Damone dies at age 89, family says

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - U.S. singer Vic Damone, a crooner who found fame in the 1940s and 1950s, has died at the age of 89, his family said on Monday.
Damone, known for hits like I Have But One Heart and You Do, died in Miami Beach, Florida on Sunday surrounded by relatives, his family said in a statement.
Damone appeared in television and movies in the 1960s and also had hits with An Affair to Remember and On the Street Where You Live.

(30,755 posts)My little brother was so taken with that song! He used to walk around the house singing it. He also liked to sing Standing on the Corner, Watching All the Girls Go By.
