Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Monday fired back at President Trump after Trump ripped the California Democrat as "one of the biggest liars and leakers in Washington."

The tweet comes after Trump on Monday tore into Schiff, accusing him of leaking confidential information.

8. I don't think he cares

if anyone believes him. He lies so blatantly, and everyone knows he is lying. All he cares about is that he gets what he wants, and he gets attention. The attention is more important to him than the truth. We should stop expecting anything but lies and instead concentrate on thwarting his actions. We should ignore his words.

The media would be doing all of us a favor if they declared a twenty-four hour moratorium on all things trump. Print anything else. Boycott that Sarah Sanders daily liefest. He would be gasping for air like a fish out of water if everyone but Faux News ignored him for one single day. He would be running to the press, in kind of a reverse access move.

Shun him. I think it would work. Maybe Democratic elected officials can shun him for twenty-four hours also. I think it is worth trying.

11. Well I think Schiff felt like he had to reply to Cheeto

Normally he's not a "tit for tat" kind of guy, but Cheeto gets away with everything unless people reply directly to him. It seems to be the only way to shut him up, even though it's only temporarily.

I can understand why Schiff wanted to take the opportunity to score some points. Maybe he took fencing or wrestling in school.
