Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee ripped the controversial memo alleging surveillance at the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Friday, saying is mischaracterizes and fails to provide important context.
The Republican document mischaracterizes highly sensitive classified information that few Members of Congress have seen, and which Chairman Nunes himself chose not to review," the minority said in a statement.
"It fails to provide vital context and information contained in DOJs FISA application and renewals, and ignores why and how the FBI initiated, and the Special Counsel has continued, its counterintelligence investigation into Russias election interference and links to the Trump campaign," the statement continued.
"The sole purpose of the Republican document is to circle the wagons around the White House and insulate the President. Tellingly, when asked whether the Republican staff who wrote the memo had coordinated its drafting with the White House, the Chairman refused to answer."

(24,764 posts)#TraitorTrump ordered the release of the tainted memo not in spite of its pack of lies, but because of them. He actually came out and said the memo would serve to poison the minds of weak-minded Trump cultists, hoping to turn Americans against Federal law enforcement and US intelligence.
I think the repuke leadership accepted bribes not only from the tRump camp, but also from laundered Russian sources to prevent patriotic Americans from stopping the Trump Crime Family.

(1,429 posts)the Russian sanctions that Trump has refused to implement. He did it again-a diversion. Isn't he in contempt of Congress for non compliance with the 500 to 2 or 3 vote to impose sanctions?
