Kalamazoo doctor posts bond will be released Thursday

During the bond hearing on Wednesday for Dr. Lukasz Niec the immigration judge set bond at $10,000.
Niec was able to post bond and is expected to be released from the Calhoun County Jail on Thursday.
The next date for a hearing has not been set, but if Niec doesn’t show up he will be deported.
Dr. Lukasz Niec, who works as an internal medicine physician at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, is facing deportation. He was arrested 15 days ago at his home.
