Davos attendees are quietly planning to walk out of Trump's speech

Source: Quartz

A growing number of Davos attendees are planning to walk out of US president Donald Trump’s speech at the World Economic Forum this Friday (Jan. 26), several conference-goers told Quartz, to protest his remarks about African countries earlier this month.

-snip-

Boycotting Trump’s Davos speech was first broached by Business Leadership South Africa CEO (and Davos attendee) Bonang Mohale in an open letter. Leaving Trump’s speech after he starts is probably more powerful than boycotting it entirely, some Davos attendees speculate.

-snip-

African CEOs said they’d like Trump to acknowledge that he said something inappropriate, and say he’s sorry. “We’re only looking for that, just to apologize” said Luvuyo Rani, the CEO of Silulo Ulutho Technologies, a South African internet company. There’s no way Trump realizes the “damage” he’s caused, said Rani, who added he wasn’t sure whether he’d attend the speech or not.

Trump is scheduled to meet with Rwandan president Kagame, who is also chairman of the African Union, to “reaffirm the U.S.-Africa relationship and discuss shared priorities,” on Friday, the White House said. He speech is scheduled for the early afternoon.

what's there to apologize for? It's always someone else's fault, because Don-the-Con never makes mistakes. He could blame it on one of the thirty or so Trump sycophants that made the trip to Davos as a reward for their loyalty to Der Gropenfuhrer. They're all willing to fall on their swords for this madman, when he'd throw them under the bus for the smallest of errors making his assholiness look bad.

They all apparently think Trump is going to transform the U.S. into a fascist dictatorship, and that he's promised them top level jobs such as gassing Democrats, or performing hideous medical experiments on Latinos. They can't wait! What other reason could there be to following a mentally defective egomaniac off a cliff? I don't understand it, I really don't.

Plus the SOTU will be a disaster. He'll start with the customary "The state of the union is strong."

But then, "Because I'm in charge and I beat criminal Hillary and had the yuuuugest inauguration in history. And the most magnificent cheeto between my legs."

"No collusion! No collusion!" And now... "No obstruction! No obstruction!"

And over the next few days...

"No money laundering! No ties with mobs!"

Tax the hell out of the trophy hunters including property tax on their African based breeding farms 'ranches'. Tax the hell out of foreign investors and place ALL those taxes into seawater desalination plants along the entire African coast.

Better hurry too before fresh water becomes the new chains on all the African people.

And, since as the holder of the office of the Presidency, he is the Head of State as well as Head of Government, any apology for Donald Trump is an apology for America.

Of course, he wouldn't apologize even if that weren't the case, but it gives a rationale for his apologists.
