Neighbor intends to plead guilty to assault of Sen. Rand Paul: court documents

Source: Washington Post

A neighbor of Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, has agreed to plead guilty in federal court in a November attack that left the nation’s best known libertarian with six broken ribs and briefly sidelined him during debate over the tax overhaul, according to court documents.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana announced Friday that Rene Boucher, 59, would face a count of assaulting a member of Congress after becoming angry and “had enough” after seeing Paul stack more brush on a pile near his yard. Court documents say Boucher intends to enter a guilty plea.

Police said Boucher charged and tackled Paul, 54, in the yard of his Bowling Green, Ky. home on Nov. 3. Boucher had previously been charged with a misdemeanor in a county court and had pleaded not guilty.

Paul’s office and an attorney for Boucher could not immediately be reached for comment.

No one believes this was a lawn care issue. We saw your lawns, come on.

Doc's plastic surgery is grade A, by the way.

Some just have different thresholds. Paul is just fortunate his neighbor didn’t have the means to exercise a “2nd amendment solution”.

Not 'assaulting individual Rand Paul'?

I see nothing wrong with ‘disabling’ the opposition. In this political climate unfortunately we may need to resort to such drastic measures.
The repukes are the enemy, the equivalent of the nazis in Germany circa 1933. History shows there is no shame in resistance up to and including taking out the hierarchy.

Enough of this political and rhetorical fighting.

Let's make this a real civil war. Pass the ammunition around, and let's get those General Lee statues out of mothballs.

Why are you encouraging people to commit violent felonies and assassinations?

And no I don't expect you to lead from the front, I rather doubt you have the courage to actually do anything but talk tough behind a computer screen. Normally one of the hosts would immediately revoke your posting privileges here, but they seem not to be around very much these days.
