Judge-Denies-American-Airlines-Request-to-Reject-Pilots-Contract

Source: NBC channel 5 Dallas Fort Worth

The federal judge hearing AMR's bankruptcy case, Sean Lane, denied the American Airlines parent company's option to throw out the Allied Pilots Association contract and impose new terms on the union.

Last week, the pilots rejected American's last contract proposal, with 60-percent of members saying no.

The whole point is to attempt to break the contracts. They have money in the bank (about 4 billion) but say they aren't making any money. Glad the pilots and flight attendants and the judge stood firm.
