Wasserman Schultz: Haitian community stronger and wiser than 'Trump will ever be'

Source: The Hill

BY JULIA MANCHESTER - 12/23/17 04:16 PM EST

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) on Saturday slammed President Trump after a report said he suggested that all Haitian immigrants to the U.S. have AIDS.

The congresswoman's remarks came after The New York Times reported Saturday that the president suggested Haitian immigrants "all have AIDS" while bemoaning immigration levels in an Oval Office meeting earlier this year.

The publication also reported that the president took aim at Nigerian immigrants as well, saying immigrants from the African country would never "go back to their huts" in Africa after moving to the U.S.

He also reportedly said Afghan immigrants came from a terrorist haven.

Dem: Trump is 'embarrassing our nation at home and abroad'

BY JOHN BOWDEN - 12/23/17 04:18 PM EST

Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-N.Y.) slammed President Trump on Saturday over a report claiming that the president suggested that Haitian immigrants "all have AIDS," among other comments.

Crowley, a member of Democratic leadership as chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, took to Twitter to accuse Trump of "embarrassing" the U.S. "at home and abroad."

An article in The New York Times on Saturday cited two Trump administration officials who claimed Trump made the remark about Haitian immigrants in a June meeting in the Oval Office, as well as other remarks aimed at immigrants from Nigeria.

Once they had seen what the U.S. had to offer, those immigrants would never “go back to their huts” in Africa, Trump reportedly said.

Haitians (..they all have aids..) and Nigerians (..they come to US and never want to go back to their huts..).

I believe he said it, just like on the day he came down that escalator and said Mexicans are criminals and racists.

Humpty Dumpty and his bigoted/racist DNA is DISGUSTING.
