Report: CIA Captured Putin's 'Specific Instructions' to Hack the 2016 Election

Source: The Daily Beast

When Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr., CIA Director John Brennan and FBI Director James B. Comey all went to see Donald Trump together during the presidential transition, they told him conclusively that they had “captured Putin’s specific instructions on the operation” to hack the 2016 presidential election, according to a report in The Washington Post. The intel bosses were worried that he would explode but Trump remained calm during the carefully choreographed meeting. “He was affable, courteous, complimentary,” Clapper told the Post. Comey stayed behind afterward to tell the president-elect about the controversial Steele dossier, however, and that private meeting may have been responsible for the animosity that would eventually lead to Trump firing the director of the FBI.

Report: Intel Officials Keep Russia Info Away From Trump

President Trump’s top briefing team has had to learn to work to avoid agitating the irascible commander in chief when it comes to developments involving Russia because of his sensitivity to allegations of Moscow’s collusion with his campaign, The Washington Post reports. Intelligence officials have had to work around matters involving Russia when briefing him, sometimes leaving him out of the loop, in some cases to preserve peace in the high-level security meetings, current and former officials reportedly told the Post. As a result, the president’s daily intelligence update (or PDB) is specifically structured to avoid upsetting him. “If you talk about Russia, meddling, interference—that takes the PDB off the rails,” a former senior U.S. intelligence official told the Post. Advisers have even adopted a rule called “don’t walk that last 5½ feet”—meaning that aides are told to avoid entering the Oval Office, and giving the president a chance to erupt, when an issue can be instead resolved by someone else. Separately, the Post reports Trump’s ears perked up during an FBI presentation about the two Russian compounds seized by the U.S. in 2016, as he was said to be interested in the real-estate potential from selling the sites.

My goddamn head feels like its about to explode and I am wandering around in a constant state of shock that this reality is actually real.

The world is falling apart around us, the economy and the tax code are being shoved in a direction that will fundamentally harm 100's of MILLIONS of Americans to benefit a few thousand (at best) families in the highest reaches of income in this nation...

Yet the man nominally in charge of this is an ill-suited moron and world-class asshole who would not know how to improve the country even if he actually wanted to do so...

I find myself having to talk walks more frequently and to free my mind a little I consciously try to take in nature more and center myself on the little things that this calamity has not yet been able to destroy...yet.

I mean with your chest pains and all?
I post on 1 of their sites in central Pa., there are like 4 Dems who post on this site. Here is what they think;
Russia is not involved. It is a huge conspiracy, the FBI, CIA, the Clintons, John McCain, are all involved. They are the globalists. Russia didn't hack into the DNC, it was an inside job done by Seth Rich who was later murdered by Hillary to shut him up.

Basically, there was no Russian involvement, it is as Trump says, a hoax. That is what they are saying.

That is probably the most convoluted mess of stupidity I've ever read. So Hillary--evil genius that she is--had the DNC hacked so that she could... do what, exactly? Fuck herself over and lose the election?

I mean, if you're going to have a wacky conspiracy theory, at least make it internally consistent, or people might instantly think you're an idiot.

And WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE - "the president’s daily intelligence update (or PDB) is specifically structured to avoid upsetting him".

He already knew about the Russian interference because he was directly involved.
And I believe he was tipped off about what was going to be discussed in this critical meeting.

knowledge of the laws involved and those broken when it comes to what the Russians did with Team Trump's help.

Here's the part that I believe hides another truth:

"Intelligence officials have had to work around matters involving Russia when briefing him, sometimes leaving him out of the loop, in some cases to preserve peace in the high-level security meetings, current and former officials reportedly told the Post. As a result, the president’s daily intelligence update (or PDB) is specifically structured to avoid upsetting him."

They aren't solely giving Trump pablum here to keep him from being upset. Not at all. I do suspect they are intentionally holding back a lot of their 'take' since much of it could be used in a court of law against Trump and his minions. Keep in mind that these same agencies were intercepting both Trump's and his then associates communications long ago, long before he even thought of running. And of course long before Mueller got involved.

President Obama and his team, like Susan Rice, knew of these intercepts. Why do you think that Nune's desire to see who unmasked Trump and his pals is so urgent? They want to paint our Democratic leaders as violators of the law when in fact they want to obscure the Russian's role in our election process and protect the real law-breakers like Trump and his camp followers.

It seems as if Mueller has been using strategic leaks and indictments as weapons to knock back Republican attempts to close him down, I've often wondered how much information is being channeled to him by our intelligence services and foreign ones. With Republicans escalating their attacks, I'm also wondering if it isn't about time for another missile or two from the investigation.

he truly is a malignant narcissistic sociopaths, that only thinks about his ego, and he still is a TRAITOR

“If you say ‘Russian interference,’ to him it’s all about him,” said a senior Republican strategist who has discussed the matter with Trump’s confidants. “He judges everything as about him.”

"Doubting the intelligence, Trump pursues Putin and leaves a Russian threat unchecked"

Was it "doubting the intelligence" or "ignoring the intelligence because he already knew and was colluding"?

I would go with the 2nd one.
