Two Dead After Shooting At Penn State Beaver

BEAVER COUNTY (KDKA) – At least two people have been killed after a shooting on the Penn State Beaver campus.

Beaver County 911 confirmed that there are two victims in the shooting, and both are dead.

There were reports of up to 15 shots fired and multiple ambulances called to the scene.

My initial thought was, "That was one angry beaver..." Sorry, I think I got up too early today.

There's a satellite campus of Penn State University located in Beaver County.
So "Penn State Beaver" is the nickname for that school.

And yes, this would be confusing to anybody who doesn't come from Western PA.

10. Wow my kids went to school there

Very quiet and quaint campus but if murder suicide that could happen anywhere I guess. My kids spent two years there. One now a senior at Penn St University Park, the other a recent grad in Computer Science looking for a job. Many kids spend 2 years at a branch campus then two years at main campus. I always was more concerned about main campus since there are so many students there and Penn St Beaver is so small.

Police are saying it's a murder-suicide, say the wife worked at PS-Beaver cafeteria and was lured outside by the husband who killed her, then killed himself.

Penn State has many branch campuses. This one is located in Beaver County (Center Township) and thus "Penn State Beaver".
