Gillibrand says she 'certainly' interpreted Trump's attack as a sexual reference

Source: The Hill

BY OLIVIA BEAVERS - 12/13/17 08:29 AM EST

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday said she interpreted President Trump's attack against her as a sexual innuendo, saying that is not the "discourse" the country wants. “Well certainly that was how I and many people read it," Gillibrand said on NBC's "Today."

Her remarks comes one day after President Trump attacked her in a tweet, suggesting Gillibrand would "do anything" for a campaign contribution -- a comment that some have interpreted to have sexual undercurrents.

"Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office “begging” for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump," he wrote in part.

"It was certainly just a sexist smear intended to silence me," Gillibrand said.

Her boss's body of work includes "grab them by the pussy", "that c*nt woman on the airplane", "I did try and fuck her".

So I think Sarah was trying to Morse code blink "Yes. it was sexist" but her screwed up eyes said "Bananna. Goober teacup pennywhistle."

Spewing hot coffee while not dressed can be dangerous, sorry about that.

Sorry about the cold weather, though. One of the reasons we moved here.

The American taxpayers are paying her a salary, and the duties and responsibilities for earning that salary include answering questions posed to her by legitimate journalists. She continually tries to intimidate, humiliate and deflect questions posed, and she's just downright ugly and rude to the journalists who are there trying to do their jobs.

There was no other way to think of Trump's accusation against Gillibrand, and my mind is not in the gutter other than to have to read his stupid tweet and become enraged that he's trying to slut shame a United States Senator.

Huckabee Sanders needs to be held to task for doing her job. I sincerely wish that the press corp would band together and keep asking the same question posed by a fellow journalist until a legitimate answer is given, or simply stand and turn their backs to her.

How dare her make light of the accusation that Trump posed against Gillibrand!

for predation - throw out a comment that can be interpreted salaciously. See if you get a bite.

If the target is angry, then "Oh wow, you can't take a joke? Well, sorry if you interpreted it that way because that's totally not at all what I meant..."
