A nasal spray version of Narcan — the overdose-reversing drug also known as naloxone, for which an injectable version is shown — will be provided for free to law enforcement and campus security officers at nine University of Wisconsin campuses, including UW-Madison.

Law enforcement and campus security officers at nine University of Wisconsin campuses will get the overdose-reversing drug Narcan for free through a partnership with manufacturer Adapt Pharma.

The program, to be announced Wednesday by state Attorney General Brad Schimel, will offer a nasal spray version of Narcan, also known as naloxone, to UW-Madison, UW-Green Bay, UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Platteville, UW-River Falls, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Stout and UW-Superior.......................

I wish campuses --across the US would all do this.

I am actually surprised Gov Walker and his Republican minions allowed this. But it is a victory for public health.
